Tim works with adults, children, adolescents, and their families.  Tim has extensive experience working with addiction including substance abuse, chemical dependency and sex addiction.  He also has a passion for adolescents and young adults.  He also works well with people struggling with depression, ADHD, anxiety, and grief.  He is in network with BCBS PPO and Aetna. 

Counseling Approach
Tim primarily uses the person centered approach, the solution focused approach, and the Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy.

Background and Experience 
Tim works with children as young as ten, adolescents and adults. He treats individuals struggling with addiction, depression, behavioral problems, and anxiety. Tim has experience working with substance abuse, many types of addiction, and has worked in a transitional living community for people in recovery. He has experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with behavioral problems. Tim is happy to provide Christian counseling upon request. 

Tim is involved in his local church and enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family and friends.

Personal Statement
I have a passion for helping people achieve their goals in therapy and in life. I focus on providing a caring environment with encouragement, accountability, and use a solution focused mindset. I consider it an honor and a privilege to help people achieve their goals, work through difficult times, and provide tools and encouragement to help them change. I love what I do!   

Education and Training
Tim completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Texas A&M University in College Station.  He received his Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Session fees begin at $150 per session and can be lowered based on a sliding scale.  Tim Accepts BCBS, Cigna, and Aetna insurance.

Appointment Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Allen.
