Children Under 10
All of our counselors have a passion for teens and children over 10. Staff who treat children under 10 have additional training in play therapy (both directive and non directive), separation anxiety and school refusal, divorce, 504 and Special Education issues, social skills, childhood self esteem, ADHD, childhood anxiety and depression, enuresis, developmental disorders, behavioral disorders, and child abuse.

Couples
Counselors who work with couples generally have completed a minimum of Safe Conversations by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelley Hunt and Level I Gottman training and have additional training in areas such as communication, conflict resolutions, affairs, sex addiction, and sex therapy. Although each counselor has their individual style, most approach couples counseling with an initial couples session, two individual sessions (because we believe two strong individuals make a strong couple), and a follow up couples session to discuss progress and goals. ***Insurance rarely covers couples counseing**** If you have coverage, goals must fit working on your individual diagnosis in a family counseling setting.
