Treatment Approaches
Victoria enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Areas of focus include stress management, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustment, grief, relationship struggles, academics and motivation, spiritual issues, family issues, and communication.
Everyone has a story, and each person deserves to be heard and understood in life. Victoria's goal is to help others find value and meaning within the world and within their heart. Life has its twists and its turns, and seasons change constantly. But, when people discover their inner strengths and coping skills, then this builds endurance along the way.
Essentially, not everything in life will go as planned, but learning to adjust to situations, to identify our triggers, and to learn the dynamics of people around can help us blossom during our season of healing and growth.
The treatment approaches that are used in sessions are Brief-Solution Focused, Dialetical Behavioral, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Victoria also loves incorporating reading, art, and history in the therapy process.
When requested, she is happy to integrate Christian counseling to her approaches.

Personal Statement
I have always believed that even though we are not perfect, we can still become better versions of ourselves each day. I love to instill hope in others, and to remind them not to be too hard on themselves when making mistakes. I want to let them know, to show compassion toward themselves, and to pick up where they left off.
If we are able to forgive others, then we are also deserving of it, with the opportunity to grow as well. I feel that life is too short to remain living in the past. I desire to help others look up, and to look forward to new possibilities and beginnings. Another goal of mine is to help others learn to live, love, and laugh again as they gradually release the ashes of yesterday.
