Education and Training
Already possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Management, and a PhD in Social Science, Lori has also completed a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Lori uses an integrative treatment approach, with experience teaching, advising, and counseling in both public and private school settings. She actively pulls from different treatment theories to tailor each plan for her individual clients. Common treatment theories she utilizes are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Ultimately, she feels her purpose is one of service, particularly in helping those in need.
A devout Roman Catholic, Lori bases her philosophy with roots in her faith in her personal and professional life and has additional training in her counseling studies with an emphasis in a Biblical worldview who request this approach.. As active in her faith as she is in her children’s lives, Lori coaches her daughter’s volleyball team, serves as “team mom” for her son’s football team, and serves on her Pastoral Council at her parish. Lori is happily married to her husband Daniel and they are raising their three children in Allen.

My sincere wish for my clients is to serve as a conduit of unconditional love, so that through tough times, I can help them find their true strength of character, and from this strength, give them hope.
