The last eight years, I have worked in a public school setting in education as a teacher and as general education teacher as well as a special education teacher. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and women with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, family and peer relationship issues, life transitions, and moderate to severe behavioral issues. I also have experience in special education advocacy through providing support with IEP (Individualized Education Plan), accommodations and modifications, 504 Plans, and Special Education Law, as well as collaborating with schools.*Christian Counseling available upon request.

I am focused on helping individuals of all ages navigate life's challenges, with specific expertise in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as women. My counseling approach is multifaceted, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I received my bachelor's degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and my post baccalaureate certification in Education from Bloomfield College. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Previously, I have taught first through eighth grade in Garland, Plano and Lovejoy ISD's in general education and special education settings. I have also served as a special education case manager and behavior and social skills instructor. I maintain current working relationships with administrators in Allen and Plano ISDs. I am well-versed in State and Federal Special Education Law, helping families navigate the complexities of the special education system.
