Counseling Approach

Treatment focus includes children (5+), adolescents, young adults, and women. Jordan aims to use an honest approach addressing the root of problems at the thought level to move towards healthier thoughts, beliefs, choices, and lifestyle. Jordan believes that through truthful and loving therapeutic interventions, healing is possible. Specializing in counseling for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relational issues, emotional regulation, women’s issues, life transitions, and Christian spiritual life issues. Jordan utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Person Centered, and Solution-Focused therapies and interventions.

Education and Training
Jordan completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Her focused areas of study have included psychological assessment, counseling, group counseling, and human development.

Background and Experience
Formerly a professional ballerina, Jordan devoted her adolescence and early adulthood to her passion for dance, and learned through that experience determination, discipline, and the mental benefits of physical exercise. She went on to teach dance to children aged 2-18 and nanny while earning her degrees, developing an understanding and love for children’s development. Most importantly, Jordan is devoted to her faith in Jesus Christ, and finds her calling to serve others using the truth found in God’s Word.

Personal Statement

Life can be unpredictably hard, and the lies we believe about ourselves can become debilitating roadblocks emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. It brings me so much joy to see people find the truth about who God says they are, and if I can be a part of that, then I am living out my calling to know Him and make Him known. I am passionate about helping people discover for themselves what is holding them back, and facilitating the creation of new goals and lifestyle choices. A warm and encouraging atmosphere is what I strive to create in the room with my clients. I look forward to walking alongside you and hearing your story!

Jordan is getting married at the end of this year and loves spending time with her fiancé, friends, and family. She is a member of her church where she serves in preschool ministry and greeting, meets regularly with a community group of believers, and loves participating in classes and conferences offered by her church. In her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, crafts/DIY projects, and finding great restaurants around Dallas.
