Treatment Approaches
Cassandra works with teens and adults seeking support with anxiety, stress management, life transitions, identity exploration, performance pressure, and other life challenges. She is especially passionate about working with athletes and high performers, helping them build on their strengths, increase self-awareness, and develop practical skills for lasting growth.

She primarily works from a Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused treatment approach, supported by motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and person-centered principles to create a warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented space for clients.

Education and Training
Cassandra earned a BS in Management from Louisiana State University and later completed a Certificate in Health & Wellness Coaching from Emory University. She is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with training in motivational interviewing, strengths-based coaching, and behavior change strategies. She is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Background and Experience
Cassandra brings more than a decade of high-performance and wellness experience to her counseling training. She is a former professional athlete with USA Track & Field, where she developed the resilience, discipline, and mental strength that now informs her work with clients.
Following her athletic career, she served as a health and wellness coach, supporting individuals in making sustainable lifestyle changes through motivational interviewing and a strengths-based approach. These experiences shaped her passion for helping people grow, navigate challenges, and pursue meaningful goals with confidence and clarity.

Personal Statement

I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and create positive change in their life. Challenges and obstacles can sometimes obscure our goals or sense of self, and I am passionate about helping clients uncover their inner resources, clarify their values, and take steps toward the life they want. I find it inspiring to witness clients develop tools, confidence, and renewed purpose as they move through challenges.

Call Cassandra at 214-233-6624 to schedule an appointment or discuss counseling concerns.
She will be accepting new clients starting in January.
