Treatment Approaches
Caitlin’s passion is working with adult females who are walking through difficulties with anxiety, depression, body image and eating disorder issues, self-esteem, abuse, anger, and grief.

Caitlin believes that change happens when people are given a safe space to process their life experiences and better understand themselves while also being equipped to respond to life in a healthier way. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is also integrated into sessions, a technique used to help individuals recognize their thought distortions and reevaluate them in light of reality as well as to help gain a better understanding of motivations and behaviors. Ultimately, being seen, heard, and understood is what Caitlin believes individuals need to begin the process of healing. When requested, she is happy to integrate Christian counseling into her approaches.

Education and Training

Caitlin received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She currently is attending Dallas Theological Seminary where she will graduate this Fall with her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. Caitlin is also a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) where she is pursuing certification in the area of Biblical Counseling, learning how to provide heart-focused counsel rooted in the wisdom found in Scripture.

Background and Experience
After college, Caitlin spent a year working on staff with the ministry she was a part of during her time at UT Arlington. God used this experience to reveal to Caitlin the healing power found in trusting relationships and began to fuel her passion to become a counselor. Recently married, Caitlin and her husband live in Wylie, TX where they are active members of their local church. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends, reading mystery novels and going on spontaneous adventures with her husband.

Personal Statement
It is a gift to walk alongside people during times of difficulty and times of celebration. I love seeing God provide restoration and healing in the lives of His image bearers. The evidence of our broken world is all around, but I believe that there is hope for our future in Christ and He is ultimately the only one who can heal our deepest wounds. I am so thankful to get to partner with the Lord on this journey to bring healing to others.
