Treatment Approaches
Ann’s passion is to work with individuals who desire to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, eating disorders, anger, and child and adolescent behavioral problems. She works to empower her clients with tools and mindsets that promote healthy lifestyle habits. She works with both adults and children.
Ann holds the belief that every client deserves to sit in a seat of honor. This seat of honor is a safe place they will actively be listened to and be met with empathy. In sessions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used to help clients recognize maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. When these behaviors are recognized, they can directly be targeted for treatment and the initiation of healing can begin. When requested, Ann is more than happy to integrate Christian counseling into her approaches.

Background and Experience
Ann is recently married and the proud mother of her baby boy. She lives in Anna, TX where her family is actively involved in their local church. In her free time, Ann thoroughly enjoys exercising, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
Personal Statement
I do not take lightly the privilege it is to walk alongside those who trust me with their difficulty. One of my favorite scripture is found in Jeremiah 29:11. It reads, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and future.” I have seen firsthand how the Lord uses difficulty and trying circumstances in life to ultimately prosper us for His glory. We were not meant to do life alone, and it is important to have someone in your life to walk beside you during difficult circumstances in a nonjudgmental way and promote positive perspective.
